Pride Sunday parade muster starts at 1030 from the cathedral with a parade through Durham City ending at the Sands field by 1230.  Speeches start at 1230 to 1300 There will be entertainment on the main stage, food, a petting farm, market stalls and a fun fair.  There will also be a party “extra” this year with special guests in the VIP marquee from 1900 (over 18 only) pay on the door, VIP ticket holders free

For the main Pride event, Martin will go along for the parade and you will hopefully be able to find him at the cathedral at 1030 with his banners and T Shirt.

T-shirts may be provided which the organiser will bring along.  Wear comfy clothes including shoes, as it can be long day. 

Feel free to bring your own paints and flags, etc if you are wearing fancy-dress, please respect the CS code of conduct.

No alcohol is allowed to be taken into the event as it is licenced, and alcohol must be purchased from the bars.  Bag searches will be in operation at the gate and all liquid containers will be removed and placed in the bin or moved to lost property to pick up on exit.

Food may be brought in as it is understood that everyone’s dietary requirements cannot be accommodated

Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times, no dogs allowed in the VIP space

You can bring a bag, but it will be searched on entry and may delay your entry

You can bring your own seat, but certain areas of the field will have restrictions on where they can be placed due to Health and Safety.

Please also email this address or your local organisers if you are no longer able to attend an event, but have signed up.
