Civil Service LGBT+ Network at Stockton-on-Tees Pride 2025

Meet up with Martin in the town centre Wellington Square from either 11.00 to 12.00 or in Wellington Square from 15.30 when the parade starts. You will find him in his pink civil service T shirt and/or carrying a flag. The parade will commence at approx. 15.30, but listen out for announcements. After the parade you are free to do whatever, you wish but covering up your civil service T shirt is recommended.
T-shirts may be provided while stocks last as per the registration form which the organisers will bring with them. Wear comfy clothes including shoes, as it can be long day.
Feel free to bring wear rainbow or LGBT+ themed attire etc, but please respect the CS code of conduct.
Location of the event and Travel Guide
The official muster will be the outdoor stage at the Wellington Square Shopping Centre, from 11.00 to 1200. You will find the Link Music venue attached to the Globe Theatre at the bottom end of the high street and the Arc on Dovecote Street, just off the high street. Stockton is not a huge town and all these venues are in easy reach of the High Street
Rules of the day
Please respect the CS code of conduct. – Whilst you may wish to attend wearing your CS T-shirt for the parade, please consider a change of top for pre and post parade.
There is a 3-year Public Spaces Protection order in force relating to the consumption of alcohol in specific areas within Stockton-on-Tees and the police or council enforcement officers may issue a fixed penalty notice, thus drinking alcohol in the street is not recommended.
Food and alcohol may be purchased from many of the bars and shops in the town centre.
No bag checks are expected dogs will be allowed outside but not into the indoor venue’s assistance dogs are allowed
Accessibility Guidance
Globe theatre and The Link (attached to the Globe) – All the entrances are step free and wheelchair accessible as are all the bars apart from the Circle bar, both have lowered sections of counter tops. A lift is available. Accessible toilets can be found on every level of the venue and assistance dogs are welcome

No restrictions anticipated at Wellington Square, public toilets available.
Stockton Pride takes place in the town centre, the main stage will be situated in Wellington Square with live performances from 12.00 and a pride market at Wellington square from 11.00.
The pop-up parade will commence from 15.30 and circumnavigate all the pride venues and Wellington Square shopping centre
Events will also be held in the Globe Theatre and the Link attached to the Globe, the ARC Arts centre and town centre pubs. It is hosted in conjunction with Curious Arts the Newcastle based charity

ARC 1100 to 1600 - Family Arts zone 12.00 to 16.00 - Quiet Pride 14.00 to 15.30 - Time to talk, safe space for trans and non-binary people 16.00 to 18.00 - Dragged up in Stockton, join local drag artists for performances, games and fun, pay what you decide

Blue Posts Pride party comedy and pride stall from 19.00 to late hosted by the Smoking Drag sisters Miss Nikki Rett and Miss Nikki Teene (no trackies to be worn) Royal Oak Pride party with Georgina Sparx from 1900 until late

The Civil Service LGBT+ Network are planning to attend Pride celebrations at this location. Details for the day will be confirmed here closer to the time.
Registration is open and this is done by one form per event.
