Mark both LGBT+ History Month and St David’s Day with this lunchtime talk hosted by the Welsh Government’s LGBTI+ Network, PRISM, with our guest speaker Dr. Jonathan Morris of Cardiff University. PRISM’s Lesbian Champion. Cerys will discuss Wales’s LGBTQ+ history and how it’s reflected in the Welsh language, as well as sharing some personal experiences of identifying as LGBTQ+ and being a first-language Welsh-speaker, while Dr. Morris, a co-author of Queering Language Revitalisation, will discuss his work on queer Welsh linguistics.
