Saltburn Pride takes place on Saltburn beach, Marine Parade, where the main Bobby Dazzler stage will be situated close to the cliff lift and in the town centre at the Art Gallery (an old church) and adjacent Library.

Short plan for the day

Meet up with Martin on Marine Parade at the Bobby Dazzler Stage from 11.30 to 12.30, you will find him wearing his pink civil service T shirt and/or carrying a flag. If late just look out for Martin and you will find him somewhere in the vicinity.

There is a pop up parade at 1330, details are not known for this but look out at the bobby dazzler stage for instructions after which parade everyone is free to do their own thing and enjoy the event

Accessibility Guidance

All the entrances are step free and wheelchair accessible.  Accessible toilets can be found at the station, assistance dogs are welcome

Wheelchair users may experience some difficulty on the beach and there is a very steep bank from the town down to the beach, it cannot be guaranteed that the cliff lift will be in operation.

Rules of the day

Please respect the CS code of conduct – It is advised that you don’t wear your T Shirt so, please consider whether you will need a change of top.

There is a 3-year Public Spaces Protection order in force relating to the consumption of alcohol in specific areas within Saltburn and the police or council enforcement officers may issue a fixed penalty notice, thus drinking alcohol in the street is not recommended.

Food and alcohol may be purchased from many of the bars and shops in the town centre.

No bag checks are expected dogs will be allowed outside but not into the indoor venues assistance dogs are allowed

Please note that the start time of this event is currently showing as 1200 - this will be adjusted when plans for the day are finalised. It will be noted here when details are final.

The Civil Service LGBT+ Network are planning to attend Pride celebrations at this location. Details for the day will be confirmed here closer to the time.

Registration is open and this is done by one form per event.
