Hi! My name is Nora (she/they) and I joined the Civil Service in 2021. I’m based in Birmingham, and work as a policy professional at the Department for Transport. Outside my day job, I have two cats and a big garden which keep me busy. I also enjoy exploring new restaurants in the city and going out for hikes.

Since I joined civil service during the Covid lockdown, I know how challenging it can be to meet new people and network with other civil servants. I joined the Network to get more involved in the community and to help everyone feel included and welcome. I look forward to utilising my background in event organisation, and I welcome any ideas and feedback you may have.
