Now then! I’m Tom… I’m based in Blackpool and have worked in the Civil Service for around four years. I currently work in the Major Occupier Business Support Team, supporting colleagues across areas such as building operations, health and safety, governance and day-to-day site support.

As someone who is dyslexic, I’m particularly interested in exploring the relationship between neurodiversity and queer identity, and how we can better understand and support people whose experiences sit across both communities.

Outside of work, I’m an actor and enjoy theatre, performance and creative projects. I’ve recently performed at the Prague International Fringe Festival, and in my spare time I’m usually drawn to anything creative, collaborative or community focused.

I’m fairly new to the Civil Service LGBT+ Network and always up for meeting new people, so if you’re new too, curious about getting involved, or just fancy a friendly chat, please do say hello.
